About

Willow Retreat is 100% off grid, with all our electricity coming from renewable sources.

When you arrive, one of the first things you’ll probably notice is our large solar panel array. This powers the main lodge, our washroom facility, and your cabin!

We are set in 28 acres of secluded woodland, a couple of miles down a private road from the Cabot Trail.

Guests are welcome to stroll our organic gardens, and relax in the screened gazebo. There is a firepit on the main lawn for guest use, and a firepit in each campsite common area. Hiking trails range from a gentle walk to a challenging hike up the mountain!

Enjoy a moment’s peaceful contemplation by the side of a waterfall, or simply relax in the hammock and listen to the birdsong.

Willow Retreat is conveniently located for touring the Cabot Trail. The village of Baddeck is 25 minutes away, with shopping, restaurants, and access to the Bras D’or Lakes.

A lovely quiet cabin in the woods! Lots to do in the area, but the peace and quiet of the property is perfect for a relaxing break.
